EVALUATIONS

WEBER4

” I’ve had the pleasure of working with her for the last 2+ years and seen her develop into a game changing guard on both ends of the floor with excellent footwork and unparalleled creativity.  Her runner is quick, and accurate anywhere inside 15 feet.  She’s developing a consistent jumper out to the 3, but her excellent ball handling added to her change of pace and hesitation dribbles leaves many defenders flatfooted.  Coaches love a seeing a 5’11 girl run the floor, handle the ball, and create space in the paint to score with the ability to finish through contact.  She’s unquestionably a lead by example player, who will often sacrifice her body diving after a loose ball.
She is routinely in the gym 6-7 days a week pushing herself to get better.  She has million dollar goals and a billion dollar work ethic.  It seems like every 6 months she’s having to readjust her goals to make them loftier because she is achieving goals sooner than expected.
Kourtney is a soft spoken but funny kid.  Incredibly goofy but a joy to know and work with.  “
  – Ben Aronin   ( Lead Coach – Elevate AAU )
Strong, athletic perimeter performer slashes, finishes to rim; triple-threat creator with quick 1st-step; scorer’s mentality, range to the arc; handles and attacks in transition.
   –  Dan Olson  ( espnW )
Kourtney Weber: Weber is a long wing and forward combo who showed an ability to face up and take bigger defenders off the dribble. She uses a jab-step well to setup her drive and can consistently knock down the long two. Defensively, she can guard multiple positions and can rebound then lead the fast break.
– Mark Williams (Premier Basketball Report)

Weber is a physical specimen at a young age incorporating size and strength along with being relentless while attacking. She can rebound as well as handle it coast to coast. Once she realizes how good she is, watch out in a big way.
