ELITE 2016 6’4″ TX Center CIERA JOHNSON chooses LOUISVILLE & shares Why

LOUISVILLE Women’s Basketball head Coach Jeff Walz’ 2016 recruiting class  got a Big boost on Monday when ELITE / Top 20 6’4″ Center CIERA JOHNSON from Ducanville, TX (Duncanville H.S.)  pledged to the Lady Cardinals .  She ran with the DFW Elite AAU program.

Ciera has a 3.6 GPA  – and intends to be a Business major in college.

She chose LOUISVILLE over Texas, Texas A&M and Notre Dame.

Ciera Johnson is currently ranked #15 in the 2016 class by espnW.


Other prospects in Coach Walz’s 2016 class include post Kylee Shook (No. 18 overall) from Colorado, guard Sydney Zambrotta from (No. 29, ) from New York, Wing Jazmine Jones (No. 55) from Florida and Bionca Dunham, another post player from Philadelphia, PA.

Committed players can sign a binding letter of intent in November.
