Giants win one! Big Blue takes down Atlanta Falcons in 30-20 victory. & discuss.

RB Rashad Jennings will get an MRI on his left knee tomorrow, but he said “I should be alright, that’s how I feel.”

Is Andre Williams ready to be the lead RB? “I think I’m as ready as I’m going to be.”

Andre Williams said he gets stronger as the game goes on. Added Giants offense is meant to “outlast” opponent

Tom Coughlin‘s words to Odell Beckham after the game: “It’s the first of many. We’ve got a lot of work to do.”

Coughlin on Odell Beckham: “I was impressed.”

Odell Beckham definitely heard the loud ovation after he made his first catch. “Yeah,” he said. “It kind of gave me chills.”

Mathias Kiwanuka‘s voice rose and eyes widened when asked about Odell Beckham Jr. “Did you see the energy he was playing with?” he gushed.

Odell Beckham: “Words can’t even describe it” on his scintillating debut

Beckham said during game, it didn’t feel real. Said at national anthem all stress and anger he’d dealt with caused him to shed a tear.

Last time Giants scored 30+ in three straight games was 2009 when they had 31, 38, 45 vs. Dallas, Philly, Washington.

Preston Parker, by the way, led the Giants with 62 receiving yards today.

First time Eli has 100+ PR in three straight games since Oct. 10-25, 2010.

Eli Manning is presently completing 66.8% of his passes. If that number holds throughout the year (big if) that would be a career high.

Manning has thrown 11 TDs and 5 INT this year. At this point last year, he had thrown 8 TD and 12 INT.

Eli Manning’s 11 TDs through 5 games are his most since 2011 when Manning also had 11 TD. Something weird happened that year, I believe

Eli: “It was a good weekend for the Giants and the mighty Rebels.”

Manning says the TD to Beckham was the first time the ran that route. In game or practice. Never ran it before

Manning said play he missed Beckham was a throw away. Wasn’t trying to hit receiver even thought it looked like that on film

Manning: “Offensive line has been tremendous”

Larry Donnell got extra attention from the Atlanta D. Did he expect that after last week? “Yeah,” he said. “But it kind of sucks.”

Antrel on 2nd half: “Besides my play (on the TD), I think we played lights out offensively, defensively and special teams.”

DRC: “We’re right where we want to be. You got Philly and then you got Dallas … Go in there and get a win and take a bye week.”

JPP on the next two games at Philly and Dallas: “We just gotta beat ‘em. That’s it.”

Rodgers-Cromartie said he does not believe groin will be issue next week vs Philly. Little rest and he’ll be good

Kennard said with Hammy you’d know right away after the game if there was an issue, said he feels fine. Played every snap of all ST

At the moment Jerry Reese‘s 2014 draft isn’t looking all that bad…
