THE BIGGER THE CHALLENGE, THE BETTER FOR TOP SOPHOMORE CHARLI COLLIER
These past two months have been really busy for me, with basketball and academics going on. Just one more district game until me and my team get ready for playoffs. Hopefully we can earn ourselves some rings. As far as academics goes, I’m doing really well (3.3 GPA). Me and my family are doing fine , just suiting up for the busy months ahead of us with EYBL coming up. I love to travel! So it’s always fun to suit up in another state and play against the top teams in the country. Excited to be with my travel team(Cy-Fair Shock) and hopefully we can make something happen in Nike Nationals. But right now my focus is on my high school team.
With many years under our belt of experience we hope to make a big impact in the playoff run and so on. It still amazes me to know that I’m only in the 10th grade doing the things that I do at such a young age. Passing my 1000th point milestone this past month at 16 years old still surprises me. But I still remain humble and Thank God each and every day for my abilities.
And yes, I’m still being recruited heavily by universities, and again I appreciate all of the schools for there effort of recruiting me. In the past couple of days Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, LSU and U of Houston have made visits to my school/games. I’ve been to Baylor to watch their game versus Oklahoma and Texas A&M to watch them play South Carolina , as well as Houston to watch them play UConn. I don’t have any planned visits right now but I will keep you updated when I do.
That’s all for now! Thank you and I’ll keep you guys updated!
