AAAAAAA

ERIN BOLEY is a class of 2016 6’2″ Forward  from Elizabethtown , KY ( Elizabethtown H.S. ) . She played AAU with Kentucky Premier. The  University of Notre Dame pledge is considered the #5 ranked player in the 2016 class by espnW, and seemingly the epitome of an All – American.  Erin is back to back  Kentucky Gatorade player of the year after averaging 20.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals and leading Elizabethtown to the state title game as a Sophomore and then following that up averaging 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists as a Junior.  She has been playing varsity ball since the Seventh grade, became a starter a year later and last season led Elizabethtown to a 32-5 record. She was a member of USA basketball’s 3 vs 3 team that traveled to Hungary to compete against players from other countries.

“I’ve been a head coach for 21 years, and I’ve never seen a player with her work ethic,” Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd said. “She’s an excellent practice player. But when our team practice is over, that’s when she really goes to work on her individual skills.

“You either have that desire to work hard or you don’t. And she certainly has it.”

Away from the court, Erin is is just as Impressive, if not more so. She is a very outgoing,  Intelligent,  high character, civic minded, well spoken and very sincere young lady. She has a 4.0 GPA and was Vice President of her class. She teaches Art in an after school program for kids in her community. The Fighting Irish are not only getting a Versatile , potential Impact player on the court…they are getting a Special young lady who should prove to be a wonderful ambassador for the University of Notre Dame and Women’s Basketball.

Through first 4 games of this season …  Erin is averaging 29 points – 14 Rebounds – 4 Steals

ELITE  ( Top 5 ) 2016  Forward  & Signee   with Family

Hi everyone!

I’m back for January, and wishing everyone a happy new year! I started the new year off with my team in Naples, Florida. It was our third year in a row traveling to Naples after Christmas, and each year has been a great experience. I’m very blessed to play for a team that is able to travel like we have! We spent New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day on the beach after going 2-1 in a local tournament. It was a great way to start off 2016!

My high school season has been going really well so far. There have been ups and downs just like any basketball team goes through, but I think my team has persevered really well. We are a very close group of girls and we learn more from each other every time we step on the court. We have several home games coming up in the month of January and I’m looking forward to the excitement and support that comes with playing on your home court!

Notre Dame has been having a great season as well, and I can’t wait until I can see a game in person. My high school schedule interferes with my parents and I making it to a home game in January, but we plan on making it to South Bend in early February. We will also be in Louisville when ND plays on the road there!

I played many games over break, but I had a few days of downtime where I was able to catch up with my extended family. I have a big family and it’s always fun catching up with them. My favorite thing that I got for Christmas was a laptop— which is being put to good use right now! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and holiday break!

Until next time

Erin
